CAD Technician Opportunity in Swansea

Zodiac Recruitment is seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our client's established team of Engineers in Swansea. As a CAD Technician, you will play a crucial role in working on varied residential and commercial development projects.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity will see you working on detailed designs for residential and commercial developments, utilizing AutoCAD to complete drainage and utility designs. You will also have the opportunity to complete drainage plans, site visits, structural surveys for property sales, and detailed drawings for historical developments.

As a CAD Technician, you will be expected to have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline, including a HNC/HND in Civil Engineering, and experience working for a UK-based Consultancy or Local Authority. It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally and have experience completing residential projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete detailed designs for residential and commercial developments using AutoCAD
  • Design drainage and utility systems for residential and commercial development projects
  • Complete drainage plans, site visits, and structural surveys for property sales
  • Develop detailed drawings for historical developments
  • Train and support others to use AutoCAD
