Service Engineer Trainee

Just Recruitment Group Ltd is working with a growing organisation based on the outskirts of Sudbury to recruit a Trainee Service Engineer to join their long-standing team.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining specialist equipment throughout the UK. Full training will be provided, but a strong understanding of technical information and an interest in electronics, cabling, electrical work, IT, or telecoms is essential.
Main Responsibilities- Install equipment identified in site surveys, ensuring high-quality work and client training on system usage.
- Carry out servicing and calibration of systems, ensuring compliance with client needs.
- Identify and repair/replace faulty equipment.
- Complete service and calibration reports for clients and the Commercial Manager.
- Assist with site visits, paperwork, and administrative tasks.
- Support research and development of new systems and equipment.
- Maintain company vehicles, report defects, and complete vehicle checks.
- Provide internal and external assistance using advanced system knowledge.
- Complete office-based tasks, including client support and fault identification from software data.
