About the Job

We are currently recruiting for a Bar Supervisor to join our team at a prestigious gastro pub in Leyland. As a key member of the management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the bar and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of bar operations, including drink preparation, stock control, and waste management.
  • Management of staff, including training, coaching, and performance monitoring.
  • Development of menu ideas and recommendations for wine, beer, and spirit selections.
  • Maintenance of high standards of quality, hygiene, and safety in the bar area.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role or relevant hospitality industry background.
  • Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, and beers.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

The salary for this position is approximately £32,000 per annum, plus benefits.
