Job Title: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with complex Special Educational Needs (SEN). The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher, SENDCO, and other professionals to provide high-quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the pupil with complex SEN in a classroom setting
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCO to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Provide high-quality care and support to the pupil, including sensory play and effective adult-child interactions
  • Collaborate with outside agencies and the child's family to ensure the pupil receives comprehensive support
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with complex SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, SENDCO, and other professionals
  • Knowledge of sensory play and effective adult-child interactions
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
