SEN Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN teaching assistant to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN) in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support pupils with SEN in a classroom or one-to-one setting
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning and implementation
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans for pupils
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Experience working with pupils with SEN
  • Knowledge of support/intervention programmes for SEND
  • Patience, nurturing, and kind mindset
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a variety of settings
  • Previous experience with SEN and/or pastoral care
