We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician / Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Gap Technical Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing mechanical activities on-site, performing planned maintenance tasks, and diagnosing breakdown faults.
Key Responsibilities- Execute mechanical activities on-site as directed by the engineering manager.
- Perform all planned maintenance tasks, change overs, and additional work as required.
- Diagnose breakdown faults in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and process systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements and coordinate with other departments as needed.
- Report resources and time utilized, job scope expansion, rework, or deferred maintenance.
- Provide technical support for machine breakdowns and changeovers.
- Apprentice trained to ONC / HNC / C&G Level 3.
- Ability to read and produce mechanical drawings.
- Experience with PPM on mechanical equipment.
- Electrical and mechanical ability essential.
- Complex problem-solving and fault-finding experience.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
