About Us

B&V Chemicals is a UK-based company specialising in water treatment chemicals and associated services. We provide a wide range of chemical products and solutions aimed at controlling water quality, preventing scaling, corrosion, microbiological growth, and maintaining the efficiency of industrial and commercial water systems.

Job Purpose

This role will play a critical part in our organisation's operations by optimising and utilising each vehicle's daily deliveries and collections ensuring all meet customers' expectations. The successful candidate will support the Transport & Operations Teams by planning and managing daily deliveries to end users in the most efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage daily deliveries to end users using transport planning software.
  • Coordinate and utilise subcontractors to ensure efficient delivery operations.
  • Manage and plan emergency orders to meet customer demands.
  • Liaise with Customer Services and Account management teams for service-related queries.
  • Respond promptly to route feedback and ensure improvement opportunities are acted upon.
  • Ensure all key vehicle information is kept up to date on the system relating to delivery points.
  • Provide monthly KPI reports to track delivery performance.
  • Address on day scheduling and delivery problems and proactively work with other departments to rectify them.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with internal teams and customers.
  • Previous experience of working within a transport planning department is essential.
  • Highly organised with proven ability to plan and prioritise workload and work calmly and methodically in a busy environment.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Results driven and passionate about improving delivery performance.
