Key Responsibilities:

To provide high-quality accounting, tax, and regulatory services to the J O Hambro Capital Management (JOHCM) group. This includes assisting the Head of Tax and Head of Regulation in ensuring efficient processes and compliance with applicable accounting, tax, and regulatory standards.

Main Accountabilities:

VAT and Corporation Tax
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns on a quarterly/monthly basis
  • Book and reconcile VAT entries using in-house accounting software (TechOne)
  • Assist in VAT and corporation tax-related projects
Transfer Pricing
  • Prepare monthly transfer pricing journals throughout the JOHCM group
  • Ensure accurate transfer priced revenue and expenditure using the latest available information
Month End/Quarter End/Year End
  • Assist in the audit procedure and liaise with auditors on relevant queries
  • Prepare dividend calculations quarterly, considering regulatory implications

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) with a minimum of 3 years' Asset Management experience
  • Understanding of partial exemptions calculations and reverse charge VAT rules
  • Knowledge of UK corporation tax and Transfer Pricing
  • Strong communication, team working, and organisational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
