Job Title: Class 1 Shunter Driver

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class 1 Shunter Driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a Class 1 Shunter Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a Tug Master for internal shunting within customers' premises and to secure and unsecure loads.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a Tug Master for internal shunting and load management
  • Ad-hoc trunking to Glasgow and back to Ellon
  • Deal with customers face-to-face and over the phone
  • Communicate with the transport team for updates and manage customer expectations
  • Attend regular training sessions
Requirements:
  • Hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence
  • Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
  • Experience with curtain side trailers preferred but not essential
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Confident, polite, and a team player
