Job ResponsibilitiesAs a SEN Social Skills Development Tutor at Wayman Learning Trust, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality support programs for children with Autism and other social communication challenges.
You will work closely with our experienced team of specialists to create personalized plans that cater to each child's unique needs. Your primary focus will be on developing the social and communication skills of our students, enabling them to interact confidently with others and achieve their full potential.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and delivering effective group sessions and one-on-one support programs
- Building trusting relationships with students and parents
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting progress to relevant stakeholders

Requirements
- Relevant qualifications in Childcare Psychology or SEN support
- Proven experience working with children with Autism and other social communication challenges
- Strong ability to create engaging group sessions and one-on-one support programs
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with students and parents
- A clear DBS check and legal right to work in the UK
