Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Governance Administrator to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Corporate Governance Team, you will provide administrative support to the Trust Board and Committee meetings.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a busy office environment and have enhanced administrative skills, including advanced minute taking, as well as experience of working with senior managers and external stakeholders. You should be able to demonstrate that you have experience of working autonomously, showing initiative in decision-making, and understand how to manage confidential information sensitively and professionally.

Main Duties
  • Provide professional, confidential and high-quality administrative and logistical support to the Trust's Board Meetings and Board Committee Meetings.
  • Lead in the provision of a comprehensive corporate governance service to the Trust Board.

You will work closely with the Corporate Governance Manager and the Head of Corporate Governance in delivering a range of services, including agenda production and management, timely production of papers, advanced minute-taking and follow-up of actions as required from the meetings.

Person Specification
  • Educated to 'A' Level standard (or equivalent experience)
  • Degree or equivalent professional qualification (ideally in business administration)
  • NVQ 4, RSA 3 typing word processing (or equivalent)

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including flexible working hours, access to training and development opportunities, and a generous pension scheme.
