Assistant Financial Manager

Agility Resourcing is seeking an experienced Assistant Financial Manager to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Finance Manager in delivering weekly forecast reporting and assisting in the month-end close process.
You will have the opportunity to work on various projects, including cash flow forecasting, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
- Process weekly and ad-hoc supplier payments, ensuring timely and accurate payment to suppliers.
- Support cash flow forecasting, identifying potential risks and opportunities on a monthly basis.
- Assist with the general ledger month-end, preparing daily and monthly sales reporting to senior business stakeholders.
- Prepare reports to identify processes to ensure best practice, compliance with policies, and accuracy of reporting.
- Support audit and preparation of the group's statutory financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate can expect a competitive study package, 25 days of holiday (excluding Bank Holidays), and at least a 5% contribution pension scheme.
Estimated salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
