Strategic Growth and Digital Retail Payments Product Lawyer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced lawyer to join our team as a Strategic Growth and Digital Retail Payments Product Lawyer. As a key member of our International Consumer Business (ICB), you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and development of our digital retail payments products.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and advise on digital retail products, including consumer regulations
- Advise on regulatory matters, including engagement with regulatory bodies
- Provide legal support and advice on commercial agreements, including negotiation and drafting
- Contribute to the oversight of documents, including communications with internal and external parties
- Liaise with outside counsel and coordinate legal advice across legal functions
- Perform legal research on retail matters across jurisdictions
- Qualified lawyer with at least 5 years PQE experience in payments, commercial, technology, and data-related matters
- Ability to work on complex legal issues and manage a varied and changing caseload
- Experience with digital retail products and retail regulatory knowledge
- Negotiation and drafting skills, with a strong attention to detail
- Fluency in English
- Familiarity with other retail laws and regulations, including CCA, CONC, GDPR
- Litigation experience
