OLE Construction Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled OLE Construction Manager to join our team at Colas Rail UK. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical assurance and quality of our OLE works.
Key Responsibilities- Support the construction team in managing assurance and handback documentation for planned works on site.
- Develop and lead the OLE Construction plan and programme for the delivery of works on the project.
- Produce bar charts for construction activities on the project.
- Review issued Form A, B, and C designs with the Construction Manager and CRE to ensure scope of planned works is understood and any issues are clarified.
- Prepare Technical Queries with assistance from the OLE Tech/Construction Manager and CRE for submission to the Design CRE/PE.
- Attend design meetings, including project start-ups, IDCs, IDRs, DCIs, and Risk workshops.
- Order materials and manage assurance of material upon delivery.
- Lead the OLE Tech through learning across multi-functions/equipment types to gain experience and support projects.
- Aid the OLE Technical Engineer/Supervisor and/or Construction Manager on-site to ensure OLE works are undertaken in-line with relevant standards and parameters/tolerances are achieved.
- Proven experience working as an OLE Engineer on Series 1, Series 2, Mk1, Mk 3B, UK1 (Master Series) equipment with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to lead and assist in directing OLEC3 Linesmen in installation and registration work on site, providing guidance on technical parameters.
- Familiarity with relevant construction standards to provide accurate technical advice during construction.
- Familiarity with the use of EviFile for OLE Quality Assurance.
- Enthusiasm, ability to work independently and in a team, and a keen eye for detail in documenting construction activities.
- Willingness to work weekends and be available to work over Bank Holidays as required.
