Financial Planning Administrator Job Description

Eventus Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Financial Planning Administrator to join our team in Stockport, Greater Manchester. As a Financial Planning Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Paraplanners and Financial Advisers in delivering a first-class and compliant service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a bank of consultants and their clients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support.
  • Process transfers, top-ups, withdrawals, income, contributions, fund switches, Bed & ISA, and protection in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Understand third-party providers' platforms and processing times.
  • Manage your individual workload using a personal diary system to ensure all tasks are completed on time.
  • Investigate and handle client/consultant queries.
  • Manage post relating to new business cases.
  • Deal with client/provider queries over the phone and via email.
  • Understand the firm's internal compliance procedures and third-party providers' requirements.
  • Maintain client records on the back-office system.
  • Cover receptionist duties, including post, phone calls, greeting clients, and dealing with third-party suppliers.
Requirements:
  • Experience working for an IFA/Financial Planning firm.
  • Understanding of pension and investment products.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Efficiency, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and willing to take the initiative.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to adapt and multitask.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
