Job Title: Experienced Teaching Assistant - SEMH Support

Job Type: Full-time, Ongoing Contract

Salary: £120 - £155 per day (PAYE), £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (Temp to Perm)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant with a strong background in supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The successful candidate will join our team at a Specialist SEMH School, providing high-quality support to our pupils and contributing to their academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils with SEMH needs in a classroom setting, providing individualized attention and interventions as needed
  • Developing and implementing strategies to promote social, emotional, and behavioral growth in pupils
  • Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to pupil support
  • Providing cover classes and interventions as required, and contributing to the development of lesson plans and educational programs
  • Participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in supporting pupils with SEMH needs
