Empowering Learning is seeking to recruit dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistants to work in Special Schools across West and South West London. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to achieve their full potential.
We are looking for individuals who have experience working with children across all age groups, particularly those with SEND. If you have a professional approach, the ability to take the initiative, and excellent communication skills, we would love to hear from you.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting students with SEND in a Special School setting
- Working effectively with permanent staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
- Communicating effectively with parents and other professionals
Requirements:
- Possession of the right to work in the UK
- Willingness to travel up to 45-60 minutes for work
- Ideal experience working in a childcare or care role
- Up-to-date professional childcare-related references (covering the last 2 years)
- Enhanced DBS disclosure on the Update Service or willingness to apply
