Associate Cost Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Associate Cost Consultant to join our team at Arcadis Human Resources Limited. As a key member of our commercial management team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of cost management services on residential, commercial, and mixed-use development projects across the North West of England.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior clients to establish new and repeat business opportunities.
- Lead and manage a team of technical specialists to deliver cost management services on projects.
- Manage the financial performance of cost management projects, ensuring costs, schedules, and efficiency are optimized to meet profit and budgetary targets.
- Lead the commercial aspects of projects, supporting teams to deliver work within budget and to required contract specifications.
- Monitor and review team performance, providing guidance and support to ensure organizational policies and codes of conduct are followed.
- Assure compliance with contracts in terms of project delivery parameters and scope of service.
- Analyze and review complex information to improve the long-term performance of the cost management service.
- Develop and implement new cost and commercial management system improvements to enhance project delivery.
- Manage business relationships with key customers to identify opportunities to improve the cost management offering and drive customer satisfaction.
- Chartered professional with relevant skills and experience to support the internal team and manage resources on complex projects.
- Good previous residential, commercial, and mixed-use cost management experience.
- Practitioner-level expertise in one or more service lines.
- Good communication skills, including the ability to liaise with peers and senior colleagues and build and maintain relationships.
- Commercial acumen and organizational understanding.
- A logical approach and ability to think through complex issues to coordinate multi-faceted aspects of projects.
- Proven ability to manage, motivate, and lead large teams, and demonstrable leadership ability.
- Experience of building and utilizing client relationships at executive level, including the ability to act as a trusted advisor.
- Knowledge of the North West market, particularly Manchester/Greater Manchester.
- Knowledge of the East & West Midlands and Yorkshire & North East markets would be an added advantage.
