Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day administration of Linux servers, including monitoring server performance and availability.
  • Designing and implementing security best practices for Linux infrastructure.
  • Building and maintaining Linux VMs in both on-premises VMware/Nutanix and cloud service providers like Azure/GCP.
  • Managing patch/lifecycle management of Linux Operating Systems.
  • Managing Linux backups/restores via Commvault, Azure, and GCP.

Requirements

  • Hands-on technical experience and in-depth knowledge of Linux VMs: VMware/Nutanix and Azure/GCP.
  • Experience managing Linux servers.
  • Experience managing Linux backups/restores via Commvault, Azure, and GCP.
  • Ability to communicate confidently and effectively both in writing and verbally to all levels of the organization.
