Autism Support Specialist

**Job Overview:**
Five Education Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled and compassionate Autism Support Specialist to join our team. This role involves supporting young people with Autism and SEMH needs in a dynamic and nurturing environment.
**Salary:** £25,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
**Job Description:
- Support students in the classroom and around the school, promoting their social and emotional development
- Collaborate with the class teacher to develop tailored learning plans, ensuring all students can access the curriculum
- Provide individualised support to students, adapting to their unique needs and abilities
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- Relevant qualifications or experience in working with children and young people with SEND
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents
- Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, prioritising student safety and well-being
