About the Role

  • Analyzing customer specifications to ensure solutions meet requirements.
  • Preparing technical specification documents, conceptual designs, development designs, BIM models, configuring and maintaining BMS equipment, troubleshooting system issues, and ensuring system efficiency.
  • Producing, reviewing, and coordinating technical information with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.
  • Reviewing technical documents and drawings from vendors and sub-suppliers.
  • Validating design confirmation against applicable regulations and technical specifications.
  • Evaluating price bids for procurement.
  • Planning and following up project activities and site activities.
  • Producing, reviewing, and coordinating technical subject matter documentation.
  • Consulting and advising project/site teams on best practices and solutions according to standard processes, regulations, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Coordinating with Civil, MEP, Electrical, and Mechanical departments.
  • Closing gaps with Project/Tender Teams efficiently.
  • Identifying risks and opportunities effectively.

Requirements

  • A Master's or Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or electronics engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of telecommunications.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working in the UK.
  • A good understanding of international regulations and standards.
  • Experience working with BIM and ACAD.
  • Site installation supervision and onsite commissioning experience are advantageous.
  • Design experience in access control systems, CCTV, intruder detection systems, public address systems, telecommunication systems, and video conference systems.
  • Familiarity with signaling, protocol testing, building management systems, coverage studies, and building automation protocols.
  • Programming languages (BACnet, Modbus), AutoCAD, and BIM360 experience are necessary, while MS Office proficiency is also required.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
