Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant Opportunity

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced SEN teaching assistant to support a child in a Year 1 class with Autism (ASD) in a primary school based in Kilburn. The ideal candidate will have early years' experience and a good understanding of the nursery/reception curriculum.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the child on a 1:1 basis inside and outside the classroom.
  • Ensure the child's general safety and manage any behaviour.
  • Assist the teacher to achieve academic growth.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 months SEN/EYFS experience, classroom-based or relevant.
  • Hardworking attitude with the desire and passion to help students achieve greatness.
  • DBS (Reeson Education can assist with the application process).
  • Desirable: degree or equivalent qualification in a child-based subject.
