South East Water invites applications for an Analytical Laboratory Expert to join its Water Quality team in Farnborough, Hampshire. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £26,500 per annum, plus benefits.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for preparing and performing routine and non-routine trace analysis using state-of-the-art analytical instrumentation. You will also analyze and interpret data, calculate results, complete laboratory paperwork, ensure data accuracy, and prepare standards, reagents, and quality control samples.

The ideal candidate will have existing knowledge of good laboratory practice, a relevant academic qualification or scientific subject at NVQ level 3 equivalent or above, and excellent numeracy, literacy, computer literacy, and laboratory skills. You will also have the ability to work towards being a competent person according to Regulation 16(2)(d)(i) of the Water Supply (Water Quality) Regulations 2016 (as amended) and actively pursue Continued Professional Development.
