About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Shop Manager to lead our charity store in Hillsborough. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing a large team of volunteers, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve targets
  • Lead a team of volunteers to deliver exceptional customer service and provide a positive shopping experience
  • Work with the local community to generate donated stock and maintain a well-merchandised store
  • Recruit, train, and retain a volunteer team, providing leadership and guidance
  • Manage stock processes, including Epos operations, to ensure a fresh and seasonal stock offering
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Sue Ryder, supporting in-store campaigns and national fundraising initiatives
