Join Our Team as an Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team at our Ford plant. As a key member of our site leadership team, you will be responsible for inspiring and developing your team to create a safe and high-performing environment.

About the Role

The Engineering Manager will be accountable to the Site Manager and will be responsible for managing stakeholder relationships, communicating effectively, and supporting the work of others through skill development and best practice implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team to maximize uptime on site.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively under pressure.
  • Support the work of others through skill development and best practice implementation.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of a safe and high-performing culture within the engineering teams.
Requirements
  • Level 3 qualified Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Previous engineering/maintenance management and leadership experience.
  • Experience of managing health and safety within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • An engineering/asset management qualification.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Budget/P&L management skills.
  • Comfortable with the use of Microsoft applications and ability to use or learn to use others (Wrike).
  • Highly skilled manager with a coaching and developmental style.
