We are collaborating with a vibrant Primary School in the Richmond upon Thames area seeking a dedicated and experienced HLTA to support children across Key Stage 1.
Job Summary:
- Prepare and deliver engaging learning activities for individual pupils, small groups, and whole class.
- Be prepared to adapt to change and help out in various areas/classes across the school.
- Support students, including those with SEN, to enhance their educational progress.
- Assist the class teacher and work on class preparations to be able to deliver lessons in the absence of a teacher.
- Help with classroom preparation and assist with lesson planning.
Requirements:
- Level 4 Higher Level TA qualification or equivalent is desirable.
- Have a positive, patient personality and ability to remain resilient in difficult situations.
- Experience working in a primary school, including children with SEN is essential.
- Have a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Have excellent collaborative and communication skills.
- All applicants must have an enhanced DBS to be considered.
