Royal Mail Group is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Mail Delivery Specialist. As a key member of our delivery operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of mail and packages to customers across the region. About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to customers, utilizing their own vehicle and driving skills to navigate through various terrains and weather conditions. A strong emphasis will be placed on providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that every interaction with customers is positive and professional. In addition to delivering mail and packages, you will also be required to collect and sort mail from post offices and other locations. This role requires flexibility, as you may be required to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays. Key Responsibilities
* Deliver mail and packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner
* Collect and sort mail from post offices and other locations
* Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections
* Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve business objectives
* Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements
* A full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays

What We Offer
* Estimated salary: £26,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience
* Overtime paid at 1.25 x the normal hourly rate
* 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (pro-rata)
