Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Medical Laboratory Assistant in a health care setting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Keeping track of blood samples and results that are returning after testing.
  • Care coordination of services alongside our personalized care team.
  • Maintaining an organized and clean work area based on health and safety regulations and the guidelines of the medical practice.
  • Answering patient questions regarding collection techniques and offering additional resources on the collection process, if the patient requests them.
  • Input of general data and clinical information onto electronic patient records.
  • Manage own workload effectively within the practice clinic times.
  • Work as an integral part of the practice nursing team.
  • Comply at all times with relevant legislation, policy and procedure.

About Us

We are a primary care network formed in 2019, collaborating with five GP surgeries in Sheffield. We offer a range of services and flexible working hours to our patients.

This role involves care coordination of services and working alongside our personalized care team.

We provide clinical supervision and support to our postholders.

Requirements

  • Experience of working in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience of working in a primary care environment.
