Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Role Overview:
This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of the Payroll team, responsible for processing wage payments for employees. It requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Main Responsibilities:
- Payment Processing: Process weekly, fortnightly, 4-weekly or monthly paid employees' wage payments.
- Query Resolution: Resolve any issues or queries related to payroll efficiently and effectively.
- Reporting: Produce high-quality reports as required.
- SOX Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with SOX audit regulations.
- Record Management: Safeguard employee payroll records accurately and securely.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Payroll Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge and experience in a payroll environment.
- Meticulous Attention to Detail: Demonstrate thoroughness and attention to detail.
- Self-Discipline: Exhibit self-discipline and motivation to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
