About the Position

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced professional to lead the Trust's Claims / Inquests function, ensuring claims are handled in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for instructing solicitors, barristers, and independent experts as necessary, ensuring effective investigation, assessment, and defence of claims.

They should be able to assess incoming coronial requests and identify contentious and potentially contentious high-risk inquests for escalation to senior management.
