Maths Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join our team at a Secondary School in South Durham. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Maths to GCSE level and will become part of a strong team within the Maths Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach Maths to GCSE level
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
  • Assess and provide feedback to students
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve departmental goals
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Good subject knowledge and a creative approach
  • Ability to self-motivate and drive students to achieve above minimum targets
