Artist in Residence at Ashford School

Ashford School is seeking a dynamic and dedicated artist to join the Art department as Artist in Residence. This role involves working closely with students and staff to develop their artistic skills and provide inspiration through engaging projects.

The successful candidate will have access to extensive facilities, including painting studios, ceramic and 3D studio, kiln, printmaking studio with various intaglio presses, photographic studio, darkroom, and PC suite with full Adobe Creative software. They will be responsible for providing their own art materials.

The position requires a current portfolio of work detailing both past practice and future plans, particularly what they would be working on during their residency. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safe recruitment practices and safeguarding children and young people.
