About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Experience and Contract Management Lead to join our team at Hammond Clarke. In this role, you will be responsible for leading on and managing the strategic relationship with suppliers, ensuring alignment with our Contract Management Responsibilities Matrix.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders and supplier representatives to drive collaboration and joint benefits. A strong commercial focus is essential, as well as the ability to create business benefits cases and quantify intended benefits.

A competitive salary of £60,000 - £75,000 per annum reflects the level of expertise required for this position.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead on the evaluation of operational performance of suppliers, ensuring KPIs and milestones are met.
  2. Manage contract variations and changes, ensuring value for the organisation and maintaining contract change control processes.
  3. Oversee changes to the contract and contract schedules documentation, ensuring a full audit trail is in place.
  4. Act as a champion to support internal teams on shaping outcome-based requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to create business benefits cases.
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, spoken, and listening abilities.
  • Ability to make sound decisions around operational priorities.
  • Government Contract Management Practitioner level training (or willingness to undertake).
