Civil Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Civil Design Engineer to join our team in Leeds, where you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of green energy projects across the UK.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career within the sustainability sector and work on state-of-the-art infrastructure projects. As a Civil Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating 2D and 3D concept and detailed engineering drawings using design tools such as AutoCAD and Civils 3D.

You will assess site feasibility and create designs for planning approval, taking projects from inception to RIBA stage 3 and overseeing after contractor handover. This role will be predominantly office-based with hybrid working options and occasional travel nationwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce 2D and 3D concept and detailed engineering drawings using design tools such as AutoCAD and Civils 3D
  • Assess site feasibility and create designs for planning approval
  • Take projects from concept to RIBA stage 3 and oversee after contractor handover
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Sound knowledge of UK construction standards and regulations
  • Competence in using design tools such as AutoCAD and Civils 3D
  • A passion for sustainable energy
