The HCA UK Cancer Network at The Wilmslow Hospital is expanding its services and is looking for an Advanced Care Professional to lead the setup and establishment of their new Urgent Care Centre.

This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for an experienced Advanced Care Practitioner to take charge of the unit, manage patient flow, and support the development of training programmes.

About the Opportunity:
  • Full-time permanent position
  • 37.5 hours per week with flexibility
  • Estimated salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience

As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our urgent care services, working closely with GPs, nursing colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the support, delivery, and clinical excellence of the nursing service
  • Support in recruitment of staff and development of training programmes
  • Take charge of the unit and manage patient flow

Key requirements include: registered nurse or AHP qualification, experience in Emergency Department or Minor Injury Unit, triage experience in A&E, and knowledge of relevant hospital policies and procedures.
