Job Summary

We are currently recruiting an ambitious Executive Chef to help us create exceptional food experiences for our clients on a full-time basis, contracted to 35 hours per week. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food that delights our clients and customers, overseeing and implementing menu changes, identifying opportunities to improve our food services, and listening and acting on customer feedback to consistently improve our food services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
    • Oversee and implement menu changes to ensure consistency and quality
  • Menu Development and Planning
    • Identify opportunities to improve our food services and develop new menu ideas
    • Work with our culinary team to create new menus and food concepts
  • Customer Service and Feedback
    • Listen and act on customer feedback to consistently improve our food services
    • Represent Dine Contract Catering and maintain a positive brand image
  • Inventory Management and Kitchen Operations
    • Monitor inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked
    • Oversee kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards
  • Compliance and Safety
    • Comply with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health and Safety regulations

Requirements

  • Culinary Experience and Qualifications
    • Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Have experience supervising a team
  • Flexibility and Adaptability
    • Have a flexible approach to working
  • Food Safety and Hygiene
    • Hold a Food Hygiene certificate
