Mars is a leading global manufacturer of pet nutrition products. As part of our EngineeringUK division, we are seeking an experienced Data Analysis Lead to support the implementation of SAP S/4HANA for Pet Nutrition.

About the Role

  • We are looking for an experienced Data Analysis Lead with expertise in data analysis, data models, and database design development.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for taking ownership of Plan to Fulfil for Pet Nutrition as part of the ERP Digital Transformation.
  • You will gather data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and other tools, and ensure the data is accurate, complete, and properly formatted.
  • Using statistical techniques and data visualisation tools, you will explore and analyse large datasets, presenting findings to stakeholders clearly and concisely using visualisations, dashboards, and reports.
  • You will develop models and algorithms to predict future trends, behaviour, or outcomes based on historical data, applying statistical methods and machine learning techniques to build predictive models.
  • Additionally, you will ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity throughout the analysis process, identifying and resolving data quality issues or inconsistencies.

About the Candidate

  • A strong analytical background with experience working in sizeable and complex digital transformations in large global organisations is required.
  • You should have extensive experience working with data, data models, and data systems related to Source to Pay.
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques is essential.
