About the Role:

This SEMH Teaching Assistant position requires an individual who is dedicated to supporting the educational and personal growth of young people with SEMH needs, ASD, or Challenging Behaviour.

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to ensure every child receives the necessary support to succeed. Our ideal candidate will be available to work Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm and is expected to commit to a long-term position in Bristol.

  1. Key Duties:
  • Supporting children with SEMH needs, ASD, or Challenging Behaviour in a classroom setting.
  • Collaborating with the classroom teacher to plan and deliver lessons tailored to individual needs.
  • Creating interactive and engaging learning activities for students.
  • Encouraging positive relationships and social skills development among children.
">Essential Qualifications and Experience:">
  1. Experience working with children and young adults, particularly those with SEMH needs, ASD, or Challenging Behaviour.
  2. A compassionate approach towards children with diverse needs.
  3. Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing school requirements.

The salary for this position is estimated at £22,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
