Salary

The estimated annual salary for this role is £42,876 - £56,048, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our established team as an Occupational Therapist Team Lead Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a clinical caseload, supervising junior colleagues, and contributing to the development of occupational therapy services within our trust.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To manage a complex clinical caseload, prioritizing patient needs and developing effective treatment plans.
  • To supervise and mentor junior occupational therapists, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care.
  • To contribute to the development of occupational therapy services, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve improved patient outcomes.
  • To maintain accurate records, adhering to professional standards and guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
  • Postgraduate training in rehabilitation or relevant clinical specialty.
  • Experience in leadership and management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of national policies and guidelines related to occupational therapy practice.
