Wood is seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Site Engineer to support our UK project in a site-based role.

This position involves working on-site in Wolverhampton, with occasional travel to customer sites and meetings with colleagues.

To be successful, you must be able to pass a HMG Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check.

As a Senior Site Engineer, you will play a key role in implementing projects that align with company objectives, including:

  • Driving continuous improvement in margin, customer satisfaction, schedule, working capital, and safety performance.
  • Leading the implementation of automation and control engineering projects.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum BSc Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Significant experience and expertise in automation and control engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering practices, methodologies, and economic principles.
  • Experience with Rockwell PLC and SCADA systems, as well as Microsoft SQL.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A keen eye for detail and ability to work in an integrated team environment.
