Job Title: Senior Auditor - Global Markets Operations

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in audit and risk management. As a Senior Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting audits across EMEA, identifying key risks, and evaluating the adequacy of internal controls. You will also have the opportunity to engage with senior management and contribute to the development of our audit strategy.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, conduct, and contribute to regional and global audit reviews of Global Markets Operations activities, including Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting, Tax, and Credit Operations.
  • Identify key risks, document process understandings, and evaluate the adequacy of internal controls over Global Markets Operations activities.
  • Assess compliance with enterprise standards and key regulatory requirements applicable to Global Markets Operations.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis, document audit issues identified, and validate that remedial action and key risks have been mitigated.
  • Perform continuous monitoring and risk assessments of Global Markets Operations activities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications/audit qualifications are highly desirable (e.g. CIA, CFA, CISA, ACA).
  • Considerable internal audit experience within a global financial institution preferably.
  • Strong understanding of operational processes supporting Global Markets activities (equities, fixed income, FX, commodities, etc.).
