Project Manager - Technology Theme Lead
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the delivery of projects across various MTC technology themes and industry sectors.
As a Project Manager, you will:
- Lead and manage successful project delivery, ensuring customer needs are clearly captured and effectively built into project proposals.
- Liaise with resource owners and team leaders to ensure effective use of resources in delivering project quality, cost, and delivery within project scope.
- Manage changes to project scope via the recognised 'Change Request' process.
- Act as champion for BMS project management processes, tools, and techniques.
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities related to PM tools and processes.

Essential Skills/Qualifications/Experience
- A clear leader with a strong leadership style, directing others to achieve project success.
- Articulate and able to effectively communicate at all levels of the business.
- Clear and concise communication given in a timely manner to key stakeholders, ensuring they are briefed on any mission-critical issues and remedial plans are fully agreed.
- Numerate with a strong focus on financial management.
- An organised yet flexible approach with the ability to influence and deliver through others.
- Ability to identify resource requirements and negotiate availability with resource owners and team leaders.
- Results-driven self-starter with a positive CAN-DO approach, focusing on solutions rather than problems.
Desirable Skills/Qualifications/Experience
- Experience in a busy project-based/professional services environment.
- Experience of Microsoft project management tools, including MS Project and Excel.
- Association of Project Management (APM) qualification or willingness to work towards achieving this accredited qualification.
