Join us at Dixons Carphone as a Senior Machine Learning Strategist and take your career to the next level. As a key member of our AI Engineering team, you'll be responsible for defining and delivering Gen AI solutions on our Azure platform.

About the Role:

  1. Lead AI Engineering resources to develop and implement Gen AI solutions on our Azure platform.
  2. Deliver solutions on other Gen AI platforms as prioritised by the AI Steering Committee and Transformation functions.
  3. Ensure delivery of robust and efficient Gen AI and ML operations and architectures.
  4. Develop and implement patterns to ingest and store unstructured data in relation to Gen AI Customer and colleague interactions for operational and analytical purposes.
  5. Develop and fine-tune embedding models to convert text, images, and other data types into dense vector representations.
  6. Design and build models for intent recognition to understand user inputs and improve interaction with AI systems.
  7. Implement techniques for model optimisation, including performance tuning and resource management on Azure.
  8. Deploy AI models into production environments using containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  9. Manage the scaling of AI solutions to handle varying loads, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  10. Work with Data and Portfolio project leads to deliver data and AI related projects.
  11. Implement, maintain and evangelise best practices for AI and ML engineering.
  12. Optimise performance, scalability, and efficiency of data pipelines and ML Ops processes.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £130,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including company pension, private medical insurance, and bonus scheme.
