Pilot Plant Facilities Chemist

We are seeking a highly skilled Pilot Plant Facilities Chemist to join our team at Hudson Shribman. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe receipt, storage, decanting of samples, safe manufacture of larger scale blends and final filtration of products used for testing and customer sampling.
Key Responsibilities:
Blending of finished chemical products and packages to tight tolerances
Receiving, decanting and shipping of samples requested via site inventory system
Maintain high standards of inventory control and chemical waste management control
Maintain high standards of safety and housekeeping
Requirements:
Chemistry (or chemical engineering) background, lab experience
Strong technical competencies with an aptitude for practical laboratory and/or pilot plant work and organic synthesis: experience in analytical chemistry techniques would be an advantage
A Fork Lift Truck licence or be will to be prepared to undertake training in this area
Diligence to accurately manage test results, technical information, and lab records, combined with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations
