Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic junior registered nurse to join our gastroenterology team at Glan Clwyd Hospital.

The successful candidate will work on a mixed-sex ward caring for patients with acute and chronic gastroenterology disorders, including inflammatory bowel disease, GI cancers, and nutritional issues.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Main Duties

Responsibilities will include managing patients with various interventions, such as NG tube placement and management, intravenous infusions, endoscopy, and PEG insertion.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, specialist GI nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and pharmacists, to provide holistic and individualized care to patients and their families.
