Job Description

As a Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in the project organisation, leveraging your analytical skills to drive business decisions. Your primary focus will be on managing the profit & loss of the project, providing data-driven insights to support informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify discrepancies and propose actionable improvements to enhance financial and operational performance.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Project Organisation, Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Sales, and Finance departments, to drive business outcomes.
  • Support strategic change decisions within the project, encompassing business cases, rate adaptations, and major modifications.
  • Manage the financial aspects of project contracts, including cash flow, risk, and opportunity management.
  • Oversight during bid phases, ensuring profitability targets are met.
  • Develop and manage Contractual change notes CCN and Estimate at Completions EAC for effective financial planning.
  • Promote transparency through comprehensive management reporting.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in project controlling or a transferable financial background.
  • CIMA or ACCA qualification is highly desirable.
  • SAP expertise is beneficial.
  • A strong track record in large / Matrix / transnational organisations.

Estimated Annual Salary: £70,000 - £90,000, depending on experience.
