\We are seeking a highly skilled Product Portfolio Manager to lead our team.
\The Product Portfolio Manager - Heinz Meals position lies within the Northern Europe business unit based in London and is part of the Meals team. You will be reporting into a senior marketer with strong experience, working in an impactful team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level and you will have a lot of exposure to internal senior stakeholders as well as external agencies.
\In this role, together with your team, you will be looking after the largest and most loved UK Heinz brand and you will have the opportunity to be responsible for part of the meals portfolio: Soup, Beans and Pasta. You will be bringing to life the brand strategy, bringing to market key innovations as well as planning and implementing communication plans, including disruptive PR activations.
\Your key responsibilities will include:

- Developing a deep understanding of the consumer and using consumer insights to drive brand equity through the delivery of communication and innovation projects\
- Collaborating with Category Development, Sales, Finance, R&D and Operations teams to drive the business towards its growth targets\
- Creating breakthrough communications that will build brand equity and drive long-term growth for the business\
- Project management of innovation and renovation projects in line with the long-term strategy, in strong collaboration with the cross-category team for best-in-class execution\
- Leading the media plan execution for your category, in strong collaboration with the rest of the meals team, partnering with our agencies to drive outstanding work\
- Working in partnership with the meals team to ensure strong in-market execution and commercial rigour to deliver results\

Requirements
\- \
- Experience with consumer understanding: ability to understand a consumer insight, spot consumer needs, trends and market dynamics and generate answers for them.\
- Experience in communication plans: ability to project manage a comms plan from creative to media execution and to handle creative, PR and media agencies.\
- Experience in Innovation projects from end-to-end (from idea to launch), with understanding of processes involving multiple functions and external partners.\
- Good understanding of commercials, P&L and the UK retail landscape\
