Diagnostic Imaging Support L3 End Point Assessor

Pearson's goal is to put the apprentice at the center of everything we do. To achieve this, we've introduced an end-point assessment (EPA) requirement for all apprenticeships. This ensures that apprentices meet rigorous standards set by employers and are fully competent in their chosen occupation.
The role of an independent end-point assessor is critical in maintaining the integrity of our assessments. These assessors must be impartial, with no conflicts of interest, and have recent relevant experience in the Diagnostic imaging sector.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Recent relevant experience in the Diagnostic imaging sector
- Knowledge and understanding of Diagnostic imaging
- Qualified with a relevant qualification/s at or above the level they are assessing
- Experience of leading meetings/structured interviews/discussions
- Experience of complying with quality assurance/regulatory requirements
Key responsibilities include participating in regular training and standardization activities, maintaining ongoing Continuous Professional Development (CPD), and assessing candidate performance in accordance with published assessment and grading criteria.
This role requires excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively respond to conflicts. The successful candidate will also have knowledge of relevant legislation, codes of practice, and sufficient technical knowledge of the associated apprenticeship standard.
In return for your expertise, you can expect a competitive salary of approximately £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. Please note that this figure is based on national averages and may vary depending on individual circumstances.
