About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Architect to join our team at Post Office.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to play a critical role in developing and delivering "best in class" security protection, compliance, and frameworks. As a key member of the CISO team, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our organization's cybersecurity landscape.

What We Offer

A highly competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong knowledge of DevOps principles, practices, and tools
  • Strong knowledge of security principles and best practices
  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and services (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, AWS CDK)
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with a scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash)
  • Experience with a modern programming language (e.g., Go, Typescript)
  • Familiarity with security compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, PCI DSS, GDPR)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
