As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, holistic evidence-based care to children and young people with diabetes.

Key Responsibilities:

* Act as an advocate for children and young people with diabetes
* Provide effective, holistic and developmental approach to diabetes care from infancy to adolescence
* Support and participate in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of high-quality nursing care
* Work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
* Manage a caseload of patients within a defined area
* Act as an autonomous practitioner within the trust, providing a local link to the wider networks for identified specialty
* Provide training in all aspects of paediatric diabetes care to all members of multi-disciplinary teams in secondary and primary care

Requirements:

* RSCN/RN (Child) with the Nursing Midwifery Council
* Degree level, specialist training or equivalent experience
* Appropriate teaching/assessing qualification
* IT skills e.g. Microsoft office, Trak, Infoflex
* Enhanced levels of knowledge, dexterity and accuracy pertaining to clinical skills
* Current driving license
